LOS ANGELES (RIAUPOS.CO) – Penyanyi Taylor Swift mendominasi nominasi MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2023 yang dirilis, Rabu, 9 Agustus 2023. Dia masuk dalam 8 kategori nominasi.
Taylor Swift berpeluang membawa piala VMA 2023 untuk Artist of The Year. Sementara lagunya ‘Anti-Hero’ masuk nominasi Video of the Year, Song of the Year, The Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Editing dan Best Visual Efect.
Kemudian penyanyi SZA berada di tempat kedua dengan nominasi terbanyak yaitu 6 kategori VMA 2023. Sedangkan, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, dan Sam Smith dengan lima kategori. Sementara BLACKPINK, Shakira, dan Diddy masuk empat kategori.
Terkhusus BLACKPINK sebagai wakil Asia yang mendominasi VMA tahun ini. Mereka masuk dalam kategori Best K-Pop, Best Art Direction, Best Editing dan Best Choreography. Dan, secara mengejutkan di kategori Best K-Pop tidak ada satupun member BTS yang masuk nominasi.
